On behalf of the Organization Committee of G-NAOE 2022, it is our pleasure to welcome you all with warm hearts to the Global Conference on Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering 2022 (G-NAOE 2022), which will be held at CECO, Changwon, the Republic of Korea on November 6-10, 2022. G-NAOE is designated as the biennial international conference to provide opportunities for communication and cooperation to actively lead the post-pandemic era with an adaption of 4th industrial revolution technology toward zero-carbon ocean among academia, research industries, classification, and authorities.

This is the first G-NAOE hosted by the Society of Naval Architects of Korea (SNAK) celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2022, which aims to share knowledge and recent studies on shipbuilding and marine engineering, and also to promote collaboration among academia, research institutes, industries, classification societies, and authorities. The main theme of G-NAOE 2022 is ��Smart Technology into Green Ocean��, considering the application of smart technology and environment-friendly approaches toward the sustainable ocean in the future.

There are Plenary Keynote Sessions, panel discussions, Emerging Topics, parallel scientific sessions, networking seminars, receptions, welcome luncheon, Banquet, and technical and cultural tours In G-NAOE. We sincerely hope all of our participants use this opportunity to have profound discussions on the field of naval architecture and ocean engineering and make strong friendships with our prestigious researchers as well as those in their careers.
